ATTENDANCE LINE

720-747-2295

Please call the attendance lines listed above before 8:00 am to report your child's absence. The attendance lines are available 24 hours a day.

Attendance is VERY important!

It is difficult for a student to learn if they are not in the classroom.  Please encourage your student to be in school, but don’t send them when they are sick.

ILLNESS

In case of illness children should stay home until:

a. They are fever free (less than 100°) for 24 hours

b. Vomiting and diarrhea have subsided for 12-24 hours

c. Strep infections have been treated with medication for 24 hours

d. Parents have checked with the school or their doctor regarding minor contagious illnesses

TARDINESS

It is very important that students arrive at school on time, by 8:00 am. Students who arrive after 8:00 am are considered tardy. All absences, tardies and early dismissals are recorded for documentation. When a child accumulates 10 absences or tardies parents/guardians will receive a letter from the school.

EARLY DISMISSAL

Is strongly discouraged after 2:15 pm. This is a very busy time for teachers and students as they give final instructions and prepare to leave for the day, and early dismissal does count against your child’s overall attendance.

School Ground Supervision

Children will be supervised on school grounds, by staff, beginning at 7:45 am before school and until 2:45 pm, after school. STUDENTS SHOULD NOT ARRIVE ON SCHOOL GROUNDS BEFORE 7:45 AM AND SHOULD LEAVE SCHOOL GROUNDS BY 3:00 PM.  If you are in need of before and after care you should contact ECP at 303-981-2483 for more information.  Please do not drop your students off for school prior to 7:45 am.
